Jon Kamies

Founder, CEO

Jon Kamies is a mechanical engineer, design-builder, and lifelong team builder who brings a practical, people-first approach to everything he does. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Oklahoma, is a Licensed Professional Engineer, and is a Certified Design Builder through the Design-Build Institute of America.

Originally from Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Jon now lives in Ozark, Missouri. He played four years of collegiate baseball at Independence Community College and the University of Central Oklahoma—an experience that shaped his passion for leadership, discipline, and building strong teams.

Jon prides himself on leading and developing teams that work hard, communicate clearly, and take ownership of the work they do. Those same values carry into his personal life, where being a husband and father is his greatest joy.

He is married to his wife, Chloe Kamies, and together they are raising three boys—Ashton, Mayes, and Jamey. Family is central to Jon’s life, and he is deeply committed to serving his church family and living out his faith in Jesus Christ.

Outside of work, Jon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys bow hunting and fishing. His daily goal is simple and intentional: honor the Lord, love his wife, and raise strong boys.

Originally from Republic, Missouri, Jacob graduated from Republic High School, where his interest in architecture, engineering, and construction began. While initially uncertain about which career path to pursue, he eventually discovered the architectural engineering program at Kansas State University. This degree aligned perfectly with his primary interests, and after visiting the campus, Jacob was confident it was the right choice.

After graduating from Kansas State University, Jacob returned to Springfield, Missouri, where he married his high school sweetheart, Beth. Together, they have raised a family in southwest Missouri, with three children: Paxton, Ruthie, and Ben. Their children are active in various sports, and much of the family's time during spring and summer is dedicated to supporting them at numerous sporting events.

Coming from a background of small business owners, Jacob aspired to become an entrepreneur himself. In 2015, he founded True Engineering Group and is enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of True Build as a company that serves the needs of Southwest Missouri.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jacob enjoys golfing, mountain biking, and engaging in home improvement projects. Over the years, the family has spent considerable time at Table Rock Lake and on vacations to beaches, mountains, and Disney World.
